Fallow Labs (“we”, “us”) operates fallowlabs.co. Fallow Labs scans and digitizes physical business records on site, returns a searchable digital archive to the business, and licenses de-identified data from those records to AI labs and other buyers. This policy explains what we collect when you visit this site or contact us through it, and what we do with it.

What we collect

  • What you give us. When you fill out our form: your name, business name, email, phone number, ZIP code where asked, and your answers to our questions.
  • What your browser sends. Pages you view, the ad or link that brought you here (such as UTM tags and Facebook click IDs), your browser type, and approximate location from your IP address.
  • Cookies. We use the Meta Pixel, which sets cookies (such as _fbp and _fbc) so we can tell which ads lead to inquiries.

How we use it

  • To contact you about our offer and decide whether your business is a fit.
  • To measure and improve our advertising.
  • To keep the site secure and prevent spam and fraud.

We do not sell the contact details you submit on this site, and we do not include them in data bundles.

Your business data

If you book a scan and sign a scanning agreement, the records we digitize are handled under that agreement, not this policy. Originals stay with you. We remove direct identifiers such as customer names, addresses, and account numbers before any data is pooled or licensed.

Advertising partners

When you submit our form, we may send Meta a hashed (scrambled) copy of your email and phone number, along with the event, so Meta can match it to ad activity. Meta does not receive these in readable form. You can control ad personalization in your Facebook and Instagram settings.

Who we share with

We share information with service providers who run the site and our business for us (for example, hosting, email, and CRM tools), with advertising partners as described above, when the law requires it, or as part of a merger or sale of our business. Each provider may only use it to work for us.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry information for as long as we are talking with you and for up to 24 months afterward unless you ask us to delete it sooner, or longer if the law requires it.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under laws such as the CCPA. We will not treat you differently for using them.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure, so we also limit what we collect.

Children

This site is for businesses. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
